Peanut Butter and Poetry

Have you ever tried a fried peanut butter jelly sandwich? Well, if you haven’t its pretty darn tasty. You cook it exactly like a grilled cheese sandwich; only instead of cheese you use peanut butter and jelly. It sounds terribly gross but it’s not, according to me anyway. Also, fun fact of the day, it was on of Elvis’s favorite snacks. Believe it or not he added bananas to the creation as well. I strongly suggest you try it one day, you never know if you’ll like it if you don’t. But anyway, I had to pick a random topic to get my blog started today. It was as simple as saying pick a random topic and someone said peanut butter, and a delicious peanut butter sandwich came to mind, thus I wrote about it.
Anyway, there is not much to say about that so well move on to a better topic. I don’t know what that will be yet, but I’m typing hoping to get an idea. It’s not working out to well but it gets words on the screen. Maybe I could write about poetry, possibly even post one on here if I ever get around to it. I’ve actually written poetry for a long time and have had one published in a book. That specific poem was called “Deadly Chess” and the idea for it came from talking to my dad about board games and how cool it would be if it was more than just pieces on a board. If you read in-between the lines, there is a lot more there than just a chess game. You’d have to read it and figure it out yourself, because if I told you it wouldn’t be the same. I will post that on here when I get the chance, I currently don’t have it with me though.
Well I’ve talked about peanut butter and poetry, what’s next? That I don’t even know myself, so I think I will leave that up to you to wonder while I go to something more entertaining than think of a topic to write about. Meanwhile, I’ll try to find my poem that I said I would post on here. Until next time, hold tight.
